Each Dynaudio Audience model has been easily recognizable by its understated yet sleek design since the line's inception. This is perhaps the only similarity between the new Audience 72SE and the standard model Audience 72: Only the cabinet from the original remained. The new 72SE is otherwise a completely new loudspeaker design crafted of the finest components sourced from Dynaudio's state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

The Audience 72SE receives the new ESOTEC tweeter, originally developed for the Dynaudio Contour S series models, features a powerful magnet system with a multiple-coated fabric soft dome and an ultra-light aluminium wire voice coil.


Both mid/bass drivers were updated from the standard model 72 as well: The same powerful high-performance units from Dynaudio's venerable Contour 1.8MkII, with their characteristic MSP (Magnesium-Silicate-Polymer) one-piece cones, large (75 mm) diameter lightweight aluminium wire voice coils and powerful centered magnet systems integrated into extremely rigid, die-cast aluminium frame baskets are used in the Audience 72SE.

A new crossover design ensures a harmonious synergy between the tweeter and mid/bass drivers in the Audience 72SE. High quality components are used throughout to further ensure and optimised performance and integration between the drivers.


The meticulously crafted cabinet is constructed with rigid internal bracing and layers of damping material, as expected of a Dynaudio design.

The Audience 72 SE is available in a choice of fine Cherry, Rosewood, Black Ash or Maple natural wood veneer finishes. The black cloth grille is exclusive to the Dynadio "SE" models, as is the distinctive aluminium nameplate identifying this remarkable version of the Audience 72.

The Audience 72SE performs effortlessly at levels belying its price-range. Music is conveyed with extraordinary accuracy and detail, seductive, all-encompassing imaging and deep, authoritative bass. A true "SE" experience in pure Dynaudio fashion.
