Though the Audience 40 left little room for improvement, the new
Audience 42 meets the challenge with a new MDF baffle to reduce
resonance, a stronger cabinet construction, an updated crossover
offering improved sound quality. An optional mounting bracket accessory
is also available.
Housed in an attractive compact cabinet, the Audience 42 suits
virtually all listening environments. It features the same 15-cm
proprietary ESOTEC woofer and 28-mm soft-dome tweeter from the Audience
40, incorporating the aforementioned improvements while holding
the line price.
